With respect to environment, in accordance with the European reglementations, the emphasis is on the Sustainable Development principle that establishes a common ground for the economic, social and political objectives of a project. The main objective of the environmental policy promoted in Romania is following the communitary aquis for the environment in order to ensure the quality of drinking water in all the cities, purification of sewage, protecting the people from the negative effects of noise, the closing of nonconforming waste deposits, the retooling of central heating systems and also the increasing of energetic efficiency, the promoting of energetically renewable usage, the ecological rehabilitation of establishments affected either by historical pollution or by coast erosion.

The work experience of PDC in this field allows the possibility to offer optimum consultancy services in the water supply industry (water supply and sewerage, water treatment and water purifying stations), waste, the energetic field and so on, at the highest standards, in accordance with the reglementations imposed by the European Union.
